GREETINGS. I cannot recall a time in my professional past when I was not called upon, with some degree of regularity, to produce written content for this or that, be it some report, presentation or full-up marketing proposal, to counter the scourge of, shall we say, inartfully expressed thoughts and ideas.

I clearly never heeded my own advice, “Never let them know you can write.”

This went on for more than two decades as an end user, provider and instructor of advanced technical products and services across the military, government and private sectors. During this period, I continued to sharpen my skills in the art of the written word to distill complex thoughts and concepts into clear, understandable content that resonates.

I can now offer you this experience to create engaging, long-form content that can increase leads, shares and attention for your organization.

SO, WHAT DID I DO ALL THOSE YEARS? Aerospace, primarily. I was a military instructor pilot and then flew for an ISO-9001 engineering services firm for nearly a decade. I’m an FAA/ATP with nearly 4000 incident-free hours and multiple type ratings. I flight-tested electronic equipment in the ISR* space and wrote numerous related reports, product guides, academic courseware and procedural manuals.

I’m also a certificated program manager and was deputy program lead of a billion-dollar global technology support contract. I helped write or edit many complex business proposals covering everything from aircraft systems integration to encrypted satellite communications, chemical detection, incidental construction and more.  

My undergraduate background is in computers, graduate in education and international relations.

And, I have a creative side: I’ve been a studio artist most of my life, owned an art gallery at one point, and worked in two large museums. I even write about food and culinary entrepreneurship, having been part of a small startup.

I’m comfortable diving into a range of topics on either side of the brain and doing the required study and other background work necessary to help you produce engaging, long-form products that are methodically planned, thoroughly researched and thoughtfully presented.
